Hand Dyed Falkland wool ~~Falkland wool isn’t tied to a specific sheep breed but comes from sheep raised on the Falkland Islands (known as Islas Malvinas in Spanish). These islands, numbering 776, lie roughly 300 miles southeast of South America. The wool includes fibers from various breeds found there, mainly Polwarth (a blend of 75% Merino and 25% Lincoln), Merino, and Corriedale, offering a unique and diverse fiber experience.
